As integral part of Qatar University, the Health Sector actively integrates its strategic initiatives with the broader strategic plan and process of Qatar University. In January 2017, QU Health was launched to address the evolving needs of Qatar's healthcare system, in accordance with Qatar’s National Vision 2030 for education and health. A core function of QU Health is to ensure alignment between Qatar University’s health profession colleges, namely the College of Health Sciences, College of Pharmacy, College of Medicine, College of Dental Medicine, and the College of Nursing. Simultaneously, QU Health cultivates a service-focused interprofessional environment and fosters collaboration with key national healthcare providers such as Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), and Sidra Medicine. These efforts collectively facilitate the adoption of best practices across research, teaching and training (including CPD programs), and patient care.
